To mark 80 years since the liberation of Neuengamme concentration camp, a new plaque was added listing 70 present-day countries from which the prisoners came. We developed the accompanying web app — featuring translated country names and interactive tools for exploring this digital addition to the memorial.
The spiral can be navigated by scrolling, providing access to translations and background information about the countries, the history, and the prisoners of the concentration camp.
